The Association équestre régionale western du Sud-Ouest is a non-profit organisation established since 1980 to promote the western equestrian sport in the beautiful south-west region of Montreal. AERWSO is affiliated with the Fédération équestre du Québec and Canada Hippique.
We offer classes for everyone: from the young to the not so young, from beginners to advanced. We have a lot of house classes such as Green Horse and Green Reiner; the first one for the horses in their first year of reining, the sencond one for the riders competing in reining for the first time. We also have halter, walk-trot, western pleasure and equitation, english, obstacles and command classes. These classes are for ponies and horses and are divided by age for the youth. Our performance classes have an intermediate division for an easy transition from beginner to open.
AERWSO is managed by passionate equestrians who generously devote themselves.
